How are you doing? It's been forever and I've contemplated deleting this blog, but I felt the need to reach out. I'm still saved, still divorced and still (thank God) a Parent.
It's been challenging raising my 19 and 16 year old but I am rewarded from time to time. I have 2 hard-headed young people with some of my traits (which I like, love or can't stand at times). We muddle through a weekly Bible Study. The study time always starts off in the worse way and then pans out into controlled smooth sailing. We eat together at the table as often as possible and we have some really great and other times really hard talks. It's been worth the journey.
I remember when my children were small and we did things together. A lot of times my work schedule and my interest in my own personal life interrupted what I now have with them (relationship). It is satisfying to laugh and talk with my young ones today. I spend as much time as possible with them because this period of their lives will come to an end and they will have their own families one day to spend time with.
