Know Who You Are!

Sometimes I feel like I'm less than a parent when I see my children doing the complete opposite of what I've instructed or contrary to how I've raised them. I sometimes wrestle with feelings of inadequacy  when I see other parents with who "appear" to have it all together.  These thoughts are less than comforting.  It's at these times that I forget who God made me.  I am wonderfully made.  I am loved.  I am gifted.  God loves me, He rejoices over me with singing and I am the apple of His eye.

If ever you feel less than, I encourage you to know who you.  Know who He's made you to be.  Begin to hope again for the life that you truly want to have.

...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

Numbers 7:89

89 Whenever Moses went into the Tabernacle to speak with the LORD, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the Ark's cover-the place of atonement-that rests on the Ark of the Covenant. The LORD spoke to him from there.
