Sometimes I feel like I'm less than a parent when I see my children doing the complete opposite of what I've instructed or contrary to how I've raised them. I sometimes wrestle with feelings of inadequacy when I see other parents with who "appear" to have it all together. These thoughts are less than comforting. It's at these times that I forget who God made me. I am wonderfully made. I am loved. I am gifted. God loves me, He rejoices over me with singing and I am the apple of His eye.
If ever you feel less than, I encourage you to know who you. Know who He's made you to be. Begin to hope again for the life that you truly want to have.
...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
